DIY Marshmallow Shooter

4 Jun 2016

Want a fun and super quick craft to do with your kiddos? Do a fun DIY marshmallow shooter! It’s super easy, super fast and super fun! What kid doesn’t like a battle outside with their friends? I know mine do but I don’t want them using things that can actually hurt each other.  I also seem to always have marshmallows that seem to harden up before I can get to them. Instead of them going to waste, we use them to throw at each other.  I always have extra balloons as well from past parties. The kids will have fun battling it out with their friends and you will have a few hours of peace and it is easy cleanup! Win-win! Here’s everything you need:

Supplies:

  • Latex Balloons
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Plastic Cups (sturdy but soft enough to cut)
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Cut the bottom of a plastic cup making both ends open.
  2. Tie the top of a balloon without inflating it
  3. Cut the bottom of the balloon (leaving a hole on the bottom and the tied part intact)
  4. Wrap the open part of the balloon on the top (lip) part of the plastic cup
  5. Place a marshmallow in the cup and fire away!
