Summer For Kids
Early this year I knew I wanted to have a fun “Summer for Kids”. I always felt frustrated at the beginning of the school year thinking I didn’t spend as much quality time with my kids as I wanted. So I started early brainstorming some ideas before summer hit me. My friend came to me shortly after this to see if I would be interested in partnering with her on making an Alphabet Summer eBook. I knew it was what I was looking for to make the summer for my kids sizzle!
Alphabet Summer is different from a normal Summer Bucket List because it uses every letter in the alphabet! I thought it was genius. So far our summer has been one of our best yet! I wanted to show you a little bit about my Letter B week. Some weeks it’s better for me to follow a schedule like this one.
Other weeks I just fly by the seat of my pants, but for letter B we did follow the schedule.
Monday the kids made Books.
Tuesday we visited the Library
I checked out We’re going on a Bear Hunt, The Berenstain Bears and the Truth, BEARS, and Brown Bear Brown Bear What do you see?
Wednesday I made Bears on the Beach for the kids.
Thursday we played a game of baseball.
My son even wore blue and later we moved it to the backyard.
Friday the kids and I went to the BYU Bean Museum.
It’s a life science museum at a local college. While we were there we learned more about Bears, Butterflies, Bugs, Birds and Baboons!
Now you see how easy it is to have an Alphabet Summer for Kids! For more ideas check out our Alphabet Summer eBook today!
